HOW FREELANCERS CAN GET A UAE ONLINE VISA?

The Visa is called as Virtual Work Residence (VWR) and its validity period is one year (365 days) which can be renewed further under terms and conditions of the Visa by the UAE government.

How to process the Application?

In order to process the Visa, the applicants need to apply through the ICP’s website or the smart application (UAEICP). Once the visa is approved, the applicant will have to UAE within 60 days to complete the residence application visa process.

In case the applicant failed to enter UAE premises within the permitted timeframe, the permit will stand invalid.

What are the Conditions?

Every facility comes with some conditions and same is the case here. The Virtual Work Residence Visa is available only to those applicants who are having passport validity of at least six months and also a valid health insurance policy.

Furthermore, the freelancer needs to certify through bank statement that he has earned more than 360,000 UAE Dirhams in the last two years or equivalent amount he has earned in any other currency.

An applicant will also have to provide his last month salary slip along with three months’ worth of bank statement.
